Payment
Cash is our favorite! We also accept Visa, Master Card& Discover. AmEx is not accepted. Checks are accepted backed by a credit card. A valid driver’s license must be presented with all payments except cash. All services must be paid in full when services are rendered. Client is responsible for bills incurred. No post dated checks will be accepted.
Cancellations
A credit card is required to secure high-end services. In order to accommodate all of our guests, we require a 24-hour appointment cancellation for any service. Any high end services missed will be subject to a fee of 50% of the services. Any no shows or untimely cancellations will require a credit card deposit for future appointments.
Clients Responsibility
It is the clients’ responsibility to read & understand our company policy & have all your questions answered before receiving services. Client is responsible for home maintenance & for following all the directions, including using proper products. Client is responsible for choice & acceptance of services or products. Client is responsible to contact Rapunzel Hair Studios within 24 hours of any issues they cannot resolve thru reading the website & taking the appropriate action as suggested by Rapunzel Hair Studios staff. It is clients’ responsibility to understand the prices of their service before accepting the service.
Appointments
Our staff is committed to serving all of our guests at their scheduled appointment time. We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment to commence so you can properly prepare for your experience. Guests unable to arrive on time or within 5 minutes of your scheduled time will either be asked to re-book for another time or your session will be cut short.
Refunds
We have a no refund policy. Products have no refund. If your service was not done as per the understanding from the consult, we will redo (not undo) the unsatisfactory portion of the service free within a 48 hour period. Deposit for materials are non-refundable as that money goes towards the purchase of materials from suppliers that have a no refund policy. Normal wear, altered work,custom work or changes from the technical norm requested by client are not waranteed. Hair extensions longer than 18 inches are not waranteed. Any redoes requested by the client under these conditions will be done at normal pricing. Hair extensions over 18 inches are not waranteed. Hair extensions worn over 3 months are not waranteed. Hair previously used in another extension service is not waranteed. Hair over 6 months old is not waranteed. Clients that have hair shorter than 4 inches is normally not suitable for strand/singles/fusion method as it requires you to have your own hair for coverage & the resulting look is not guaranteed. Strand methods are meant to use the clients own hair for coverage & meant to look like your own hair has grown. It can give you highlights, low lights, volume & length but cannot change what you have completely. For example it can give you lots of blonde highlights but cannot make you a blonde. It can give you body but cannot give you curly hair. A client that has hair that is damaged is not waranteed. Hair extensions put in more than 50% of the entire head is not waranteed. Hair extensions need special care. We recommend the S Factor line as it is sulfate & sodium free & does not strip& dry the hair like other detergent based product do. We will not warrantee the condition of any hair or hair extensions using other products. We will not warrantee any hair extensions or condition of the hair when receiving hair services by someone outside the salon. We will not warrantee any hair extensions that have been altered with chemicals as different chemicals have been used in the processing of the hair extensions. Using a hair extension system that is not recommended is not waranteed.
Gratuities & Tips
Tipping is always appreciated & not reflected in the pricing. There has been some question as to an appropriate tip. An appropriate tip is 15% to 20% of regular services & 10 % to 15% on hair extensions so you are tipping on service without the cost of hair added in.
Safety & Comfort
We want each of our guests experience to be thoroughly enjoyable,this is your time & our other guests time to relax & pamper themselves. Therefore, individuals needing supervision are not allowed in our facility during your appointment. If you arrive with individuals needing supervision we will be unable to accommodate your appointment, however we will be happy to reschedule for a more convenient time for you or you may use our neighbor, All Sports as they have an hourly childcare service. Please silence your cell phones and pagers and refrain from using them while having permanent makeup & eyelash extension services. We are a non-smoking facility. Please let us know how we can enhance your personal experience. Minors must always be accompanied by parent during the minors service. Visitors are not allowed during permanent makeup application. You may have visitors wait for you outside the room. Do not wear jewelry from the neck up. Rapunzel Hair Studios, Inc, & affiliates will not be held liable for damage to jewelry or persons from wearing jewelry. Wear appropriate clothing & shoes. Since we are a full service salon & use chemicals, we ask that you minimize perfume as we try to accommodate people with allergies & sensitivities.
Refusal of Services
Any inappropriate, threatening, argumentative, disruptive or strange behavior, you will be asked to leave & not return. You will be refused service & not be refunded.
Disclaimer
There may be a possibility that your hair may fall into the category of not being able to wear extensions or receive a service. We do our best to eliminate anyone who is not a candidate thru the consultation form & personal inspection. The possibility of being a non-candidate is slim but it is impossible to catch every non-candidate. Extensions, addition & replacement services can place stress on the existing natural hair so cannot warrantee the condition of your hair after use. Hair extensions can cause hair loss. Rapunzel Hair Studios, Inc. & affiliates will not be held liable for any harm in connection with premises or abuse/neglect of products or services rendered. You are advised to not wear jewelry in the area of service, wear safe shoes & no expensive garments.
Photographs
We reserve the right to use photos in our portfolios. If you choose not to let us use your photo or would let us use your photo in part, submit a letter to that effect. Any persons who receive free or discounted services in any form give up the right to their photographs & give Rapunzel Hair Studios, Inc. full rights to any & all photos or images pertaining to the discounted services.
Other
In valuable consideration in exchange for any reduced rate, the client agrees to waive liability & has no recourse for refunds or redo's without proper compensation to Rapunzel Hair Studios.
