Wash - Use sulphate free shampoo for damaged hair as these do not strip your hair. Use warm or cool water wash & cool water rinse to close the cuticle. Use a conditioner that is appropriate to your specific needs.

Dry - Squeeze, do not rub with towel. Use the towel to remove as much water as possible. Add your specific products to your recommendation. Air dry if possible. If not possible. Use blow dryer on warm air & use your fingers to separate hair. Do not go to bed with wet hair. This causes damage.

Blow Dry - with fingers until the hair s slightly damp. Wet hair does not hold a style. Section hair to the size of the brush used. Blow dry on the lowest setting possible to create your style. Use the cold air to set form of hair. Use a natural bristle brush to avoid tugging any hair out.

Flat Iron - There is no need to style with a blow dryer if you flat iron. Just dry hair on lowest setting with fingers, section hair to the size of the iron. Use the lowest heat possible that still gives you an ironed look without having to go over it multiple times.

Sleeping - Silk or satin pillowcases do not rough up your hair the way cotton ones do. This will also help you maintain your style with less touch ups.

Clean Up - Put conditioner on the hair to protect the hair from residue. use an oil based remover to loosen the tape & glue. Peel everything off. Use a paper towel to wipe off as much residue as possible. Apply shampoo without water & gently work thru. Wipe clean with a paper towel If you have difficult residue to remove, use shampoo with baking soda mixed in without water & gently work thru. Wipe with paper towel. Shampoo with cool water, condition & rinse.
